The following defendants were sentenced to Wayne County Correctional Facility Thursday, July 2, 2009. The Honorable Raymond L. Hamill, presided in Wayne County Court:
• Anthony Carl Possemato II, age 19 of Masonville, NY was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 23 -1⁄2 months for one count of Receiving Stolen Property, graded as a felony of the 3rd degree. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, restitution in the amount of $1,620.26, $300.00 for the cost of the public defender, provide a DNA sample and pay $250.00 for the cost of the sample, perform 50 hours of community service, obtain a GED, and obtain full time employment upon parole. The incident occurred on December 9, 2008, in Paupack Township when Possemato stole an ATV.
• Amber Lynne Ryan, age 21 Newfoundland was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for15 days to 23-1⁄2 months for one count of Identity Theft, graded as a misdemeanor of the 1st degree. She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, continue with drug and alcohol treatment as well as mental health treatment, and have no contact with the co-defendant or the victim in this matter. The incident occurred on November 25, 2008, in Hawley Borough when Ryan assumed the identity of another in an attempt to cash a check.
• Trevor Lynn Hartley-Miele, age 22 of Moscow was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for10 days to 12 months for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, an ungraded misdemeanor. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, attend a minimum of two AA meeting per week while on probation, continue with drug and alcohol treatment, and obtain full time employment within 30 days of parole. The incident occurred on June 12, 2008, in Sterling Township when Pennsylvania were investigating another matter. At that time Officers found Hartley-Miele to be in possession of Marijuana and rolling papers.
• Sharae Latifah Moses, age 18 of Honesdale was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 10 days to 23-1/2 months for one count of Simple Assault, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree. She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, restitution in the amount of $1,170.00, attend an anger management program and pay $300.00 for the cost of the public defender. The incident occurred on September 16, 2008, in Texas Township when Moses assaulted a female victim.
