PennDOT reports that repairs to a conduit will be made Tuesday May 13 at the intersection of Main and 4th Sts., Honesdale.
Alternating traffic patterns will occur 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
Thursday detour
Church Street will be closed at the intersection of Church & 4th to lay conduit, weather permitting on Thursday May 15. This will affect Route 6 westbound traffic 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Use 4th Street as a detour, make a right onto Main Street and a right onto 5th Street.
Dyberry Bridge
Beams will be delivered for the Route 191 Dyberry Bridge replacement project on Tuesday May 13. Route for the delivery trucks is Route 6 (Casey Highway) to Route 191. A temporary span has been in place in this location, north of Honesdale, since September 2003 when the bridge partly collapsed.
