The Ugliest Furniture Contest sponsored by Aaron's of Honesdale has heated up and of the 15 entries, it was narrowed down to three finalist.
Early Saturday morning Wayne Independent Editor Greg Little and Multimedia Sales Executive Guy Mathews will verify the entries to make sure the essay and furniture entered, conform to the contest rules.
What does this mean? It means, once the verification process is complete, Aaron's will deliver a new seven piece living room set to one lucky winner. The winner will be announced on www.wayneindependent.com Saturday evening and a follow up story will appear in our Tuesday print edition.
The Wayne Independent would like to thank all of the contestants and people who registered for the voting process. Although voting was only part of the requirement for being considered, the essay will carry the most weight in choosing the winner. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Adam Marlin, and the rest of Aaron's staff for making this contest possible.
