The Hanson Gallery will hold a Meet the Artists Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.
The reception is for the exhibit "The Surrealism and Fantasy Art Collection" which will run through Aug. 28.
The works feature the element of surprise, humor and unexpected juxtapositions. Through the ages, the art has not only affected the visual arts, but literature, film and music as well.
