There’s a “Wall” (only) because of the atheists, liberal judges (and legislators) and the ACLU (plus a few other idiots and publicity seekin’ rabble-rousers).
The atheists only started gittin’ attention (and their way) when Madalyn Murray O’Hair whined until she had her way with school prayer (none). The liberal judges think they’re qualified to write laws (they’re not). Those liberal lawmakers? They just want attention ('cuz “any” attention helps get 'em votes). The ACLU? Which I prefer to refer to (jokingly?) as the “Anti Citizen Lawyers Union” wants power and attention (not “justice”). And those idiots and publicity seekers...? Well, I’ll let that description stand on it’s own merits.
Madalyn “disappeared” some years back (not soon enough). But we (ordinary citizens) were naive enough, when she started her little campaign, to ignore her. Big mistake on our part!
She kept at it...! Badgerin’ politicians, judges, legislators (anyone) who’d give her the time of day. Spewing her “anti-religion” venom. Her “success” would never have taken place, if ordinary citizens (that’s you, folks!) had paid attention and fought back. But we (you) didn’t. You (and I) took her as what she seemed, a nut case..., but she wasn’t! She was the vanguard in a movement to (totally) eliminate religion and God, from our nation!
Ever since her concerted efforts to eliminate prayer and bibles from schools were successful, the “cats been out of the bag”! (early 1960s as I recall, ‘bout when my own “me” generation started screwin’ things up!)
She laid the “walls” cornerstone! That wall’s been expanded by all the other folks I’ve mentioned above, ever since. Worst part of all? While this “wall” has been growing higher and wider for decades? It has never had a solid (any) foundation in the constitution!
In case you’ve missed the point of what “Wall” I’m referrin’ too? It’s the one “between church and state”.
One that’s been casually bantered about up there in the “elite” stratosphere (where our judges and lawmakers toil) for so long now, they believe it’s real! And worse, much worse..., regular folks have come to believe it actually exists too!? It does not! Never has!!
Read Your constitution folks.
Then maybe the writings of Thomas Paine, Tom Jefferson, John Adams and the many others who made this country..., a country! Ya might even read the federalist papers.
You’d learn this..., A “wall” was Never meant to be built between the government and religion! Only the “Establishment” of A Religion, by the government, was banned.
Finally you oughta start talkin’ and writin’ your lawmakers! Sadly, I know you won’t. Might use up a few minutes of yer precious leisure time (heck, you won’t even find five minutes to read and comment on this column!).
Folks, it’s no sin to realize (learn) that Our Forefathers were (virtually) all christians. Yep! Christians, to a man (and woman).
Back then it wasn’t a sin, it was a reason!
Most of their forebears came here “specifically” to build a Christian Nation. No sin then, and it shouldn’t be now. (neither should it be against the law!).
Take a good hard look around. You’ll notice No Other (major) religious groups are ashamed of their religion. In fact, they proudly display it in daily dress and actions. Many so proud of who and what they are..., some would gladly kill you for being who and what you are.
The fight (assault) on christian beliefs in this country goes on! The people I’ve named above are doing everything in their power to eliminate any (every) possible reference to christian beliefs from our national landscape. Literally!
They want no crosses, no ten commandments, no prayers. No christmas displays, menorahs, no religious symbols, no God (!) remaining anywhere in our (public) lives.
Their current mantra includes only “government property”. But that smokescreen is merely the most recent incarnation. They’re using it, because they figure it’s their best “cover”. And ‘cuz they realize regular citizens have an aversion to fighting “laws” (or lawsuits).
Well folks, if you don’t get off your a---s (oops, butts) and do something about it? Mark my words! One day (not that far away) yer gonna find yourself being eliminated too. Legislators, judges, and the rest? They never achieve enough power to be satiated!
Once All the “symbols” of christianity are finally out of sight? (outlawed). You’ll be next! Take that look around the world..., it’s being done!
