HONESDALE - Reps. Mike Peifer (R-Monroe/Pike/Wayne) and Rosemary Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) are inviting area businesses and organizations that offer services to area senior citizens to take part in their upcoming Senior Citizens Expo.
The expo will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dingman Township Fire Hall, 680 Log Tavern Road in Milford.
“With so many services and so much information out there, the goal of the expo is to bring everything together in one location to make it easier for senior citizens and their caregivers to learn more about what is available to them,” Peifer said.
“Our goal is to provide seniors with access to as many types of vendors and services as possible.
“A limited number of vendor spaces remain, and we hope to fill those very soon,” Brown added.
Service providers that typically take part in the expo are involved in things like nursing care, personal care, physical therapy, senior living, hospice services and more.
For more information about becoming a vendor at the expo, contact Peifer’s office at 570 253-5533.
