  • - Wayne County President Judge Raymond Hamill sentenced the following defendants last week:
    Joseph Delrio, 34, of Gouldsboro, was sentenced to a state correctional facility for 19 to 60 months for one count of DUI-highest rate and driving while privilege suspend/revoked. He was also ordered to pay all court costs, pay a $1,700 fine, complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment and complete an alcohol highway safety program. The incident occurred on Sept. 26, 2013, in Honesdale. His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was .197 percent.
    Christopher K. McClain, 39, of Hawley, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months for one count of DUI-highest rate. He was also ordered to pay all court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, complete an alcohol highway safety program and perform 50 hours of community service. The incident occurred on Feb. 23, 2013, in Palmyra Township when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate the report of a one vehicle crash. His BAC was .176 percent.
    Mark Semkew, 62, of Peckville, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 48 hours to six months for one count of DUI. He was also ordered to pay all court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $500, complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment and complete an alcohol highway safety program. The incident occurred on Aug. 30, 2013, in Lake Township when Pennsylvania State Police observed Semkew traveling at a high rate of speed. His BAC was .128 percent.
    Jennifer-Lynne Keller, 36, of Prompton, was sentenced to pay court costs for one count of hinder apprehension/prosecution-harbor or conceal. She was also ordered to pay a fine in the amount of $300. The incident occurred Nov. 30, 2013, in Prompton when Keller hindered Pennsylvania State Police from apprehending a wanted male.
    Richard Estrella, 24, of Lake Ariel, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for nine to 36 months for one count of criminal use of communication facility. He was also ordered to pay all court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $300, perform 100 hours of community service, complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, obtain full-time employment and submit to the drawing of a DNA sample and pay $250 for the cost of the sample. The incident occurred on Dec. 7, 2013, in Salem Township when Estrella used a cell phone in an attempt to obtain narcotics.
    Page 2 of 3 - Connor W. Beschner, 22, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months for one count of DUI/controlled substance. He was also ordered to pay all court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000, complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, complete an alcohol safety program and perform 40 hours of community service. The incident occurred on Nov. 27, 2013, in Salem Township when Beschner was discovered to be driving while under the influence of marijuana.
    Anthony M. Venticinque, 35, of Moscow, was placed on probation for 12 months for one count of possession of controlled substance. He was also ordered to pay all court costs, perform 25 hours of community service and obtain part-time employment. The incident occurred on Nov. 2, 2013, in Paupack Township when Venticinque was found to be in possession of marijuana.
    James C. Leidner, 23, of Red Bank, NJ, was sentenced to a state correctional facility for nine to 24 months for one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition. He was also ordered to pay all court costs and a fine in the amount of $300. The incident occurred on Dec. 6, 2013, in Texas Township when Leidner and a co-defendant stole items from a department store.
    Andrew Rosler, 25, of Beach Lake, was placed on probation for 24 months for two counts of receiving stolen property and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also ordered to pay all court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,300, pay restitution in the amount of $50, pay restitution in the amount of $293.47, complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and maintain full time employment. The incidents occurred between Oct. 15 and 21, 2013, in Dyberry and Texas Townships when Rosler bought items knowing they were stolen. At that time Rosler was in possession of syringes.
    Matthew Roses, 23, of Lake Ariel, was placed on the Rehabilitative Disposition Program for six months related to DUI. He was also ordered to pay all court costs, perform 40 hours of community service, complete an alcohol highway safety program, and have his operator’s license suspended for 60 days. The incident occurred on Nov. 17, 2013, in Lake Township when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate the report of a one-vehicle crash. His BAC was .144 percent.
    The following pleaded guilty:
    James E. Sullivan, 30, of Hawley, one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition. The incident occurred on Nov. 8, 2013, in Honesdale. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 14.
    Page 3 of 3 - Kamie R. Hanson, 23, of Tobyhanna, one count of possession of controlled substance. The incident occurred on Feb. 1, 2013, in Salem Township. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 14.
