MILFORD - Free family entertainment on the grounds of Grey Towers National Historic Site in Milford, is planned for Saturday, June 21, when the popular film EPIC is shown on a large screen in the historic amphitheater.

A related craft activity for youngsters is planned beginning at 7 pm. The film will start at dusk.

Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and a picnic dinner; popcorn will be available.

EPIC, a film from the creators of Ice Ag and Rio, stars Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson and Beyonce Knowles.

In the film, a teenager finds herself transported to a deep forest setting where a battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil is taking place.

She bands together with a rag-tag group of characters in order to save their world -- and ours.

EPIC is the first in a series of free films with an environmental theme or message that will be shown this season at Grey Towers, with support of the Grey Towers Heritage Association.

The next film is Happy Feet Two on July 19, supported by the Gifford Pinchot Audubon Society.

In case of inclement weather, the film will be shown on Sunday, June 22. Call 570 296-9625 by 3 p.m. to hear a recorded message if the weather is questionable.
