  • Motorcyclist injured in wreck

  • WAYNE COUNTY - A motorcyclist was hurt in a crash on Route 590 near Bakker's Marine, said state police at Honesdale.
    Ralph A. Horn, 56, of Dickson City, lost control of a 2005 Harley Davidson, which traveled off the right shoulder and skidded onto its left side, police said.
    Horn was wearing a helmet and suffered moderate injuries. He was treated at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.
    The crash happened at 4 p.m. May 18.
    Deon Adams, 18, of Tafton, was cited for retail theft at 4:30 p.m. June 1, police said.
    Police said Adams tried to leave Walmart on Old Willow Avenue in Texas Township without paying for a cart of meat and infant items.
    He was stopped by a loss prevention officer and cited in district court.
    State police are looking for a person who scattered household trash onto private property on Paint Mine Road in Damascus Township.
    The incident happened between 4 p.m. May 30 and 10 a.m. May 31.
