  • DUNMORE – During the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's “Click It or Ticket” campaign, the Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting free child safety seat checks.

  • DUNMORE – During the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's “Click It or Ticket” campaign, the Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting free child safety seat checks.
    This year's “Click It or Ticket” campaign is from Monday, May 19 through Sunday, June 1.
    “Child safety seats save lives, but only when they are installed and used properly,” said State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan. “Using these seats properly is an absolute must for everyone traveling with children and ensuring the safety of our most precious cargo must be our first priority every time we get behind the wheel.”
    The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop R will be conducting the following free child safety seat checks:
    Dunmore State Police Headquarters: Wednesday, May 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    P&R Discount, Eynon: Saturday, May 31 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    Blooming Grove Barracks, Pike County: Saturday, May 31 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    All parents and caregivers are urged to attend a child safety seat check to ensure that their child's safety is properly installed.
    Certified child passenger safety seat technicians will inspect the seat and assist with making any corrections. They will also help to educate he public on the proper seat to use.
