REGION - Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) has announced that Board-certified Internal Medicine Physician Lawrence W. Stepczak, M.D., will now be seeing patients at the Carbondale Family Health Center, 141 Salem Avenue, Suite 302 of the Marian Community Professional Building in Carbondale as well as the Waymart Family Health Center located at 29 Woodlands Drive, Waymart.
“Dr. Stepczak has been with WMCHC since 2008 during which time he has provided primary care services for adolescents and adults in our centers located in Honesdale and Waymart,” stated Frederick Jackson, executive director, WMCHC.
“As our service area and patient volumes have increased over the past two years, so has the need for primary care providers to cover a larger geographic region.”
Dr. Lawrence Stepczak was born and raised in Poznan, Poland and relocated to America to further his medical education.
He completed his internal medicine residency in Abington, PA, and has been practicing in Northeast Pennsylvania for more than 18 years.

Most private insurances, Medicare and medical assistance are accepted. A sliding fee scale based on income is available for those who qualify.
