  • I find that one of the best things for soothing your soul is listening to some good music.
It's one of the cures for any kind of day, even the best ones. When you're in a good mood you probably spend more time listening to upbeat and happy songs, making your mood even better.
When you're having a bad day and things just aren't going right, you probably listen to more somber songs.
As the saying goes, when you're happy you hear the music and when you're sad, you feel the lyrics.
I really don't think I'd be the same without music in my life. I've grown up around it, I've played instruments and I listen to it every day. I'm not even going to care if someone sees me dancing around to it.
My personal saying is that music is my life and writing is my passion.
Without either of these I am not truly myself. It's what I know.
Music is great for any occasion and there's so much available. I like a wide variety of music and you can see that from the selection of artists on my phone and in my iTunes library.
Country? Bring it. Rock? Of course. Pop? Why not! The only genres I'll really say no to are rap and hip hop. Other than that it's fair game.
Music is one of the most awesome aspects of life, hands down. There's nothing like it to put you in a great mood.
