     - Randy Haines, 53, of Moscow, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at 6:50 p.m. May 4 at a residence on Nancys Road in Sterling Township, police said.
    Haines was intoxicated and acted in a "violent and threatening manner" with family members, police said.
    A burglary was reported at a residence on the Hamlin Highway in Paupack Township.
    Police said someone entered an upstairs apartment, cutting a lock on a tool box and stealing a socket set and unidentified tools.
    The theft happened between April 17 and 18.
    The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, sunglasses, blue jeans and white sneakers.

    Someone stole $30 worth of change from a cash register at Growers Garden Center on Route 191 and Newfoundland.
    The theft happened April 28 between 9:30 and 10 p.m.

    The Honesdale Borough Police Department is investigating a reported assault that happened about 3 a.m. May 3 at 301 Willow Avenue.
    Police said the victim encountered a white male attempting to enter or attempting to damage a window at the residence.
    The suspect struck the victim several times and threw the victim off a porch before fleeing. The victim was hospitalized for unspecified injuries.
    The white male was wearing a black bandana and possibly a black leather jacket. He was last seen running west on Route 6 near Bold’s Floral Center.
