  • PETER PARKER'S HOUSE - The summer-movie season has officially kicked off now that "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is in theaters, but is it worth seeing? While the film has some pacing issues and plot holes, it's still a solid effort, and here are three reasons you should see it in the theater. Fun There's no way around it, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is a lot of fun. You can't help but smile as you watch all the Spidey insanity unfold in front of you, and Andrew Garfield is honestly a joy to watch. His humor, timing and charm will suck you in whether you want to be or not. While I don't think this is the best Spider-Man flick, I do think it's the most fun to watch. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone When I wrote my review for "The Amazing Spider-Man" in 2012, I used this exact same reason to see it, but it is without a doubt the best part of this series. The way these two play off one another is mesmerizing, and it would be hard to find any two actors who have more chemistry. Stone and Garfield have a natural and easy way about their relationship, and at times the film almost feels like a quirky romantic comedy, but they're both so great that you don't care. You actually care about their courtship and want nothing more than for it to be a happily ever after. Action The action scenes in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" are nothing short of incredible and something that needs to be experienced. The 3D left me wanting, but the Imax was incredible, and director Marc Webb nailed the action sequences and showing us how "Spidey senses" work. The action sequences in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" are the best of the recent five films and will leave you with your jaw dropped at times. As I mentioned earlier, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has its issues, and it's far from a perfect film, but at the end of the day it's a popcorn flick that delivers laughs, action and some intrigue.%3Cimg%20src%3D%22http%3A//beacon.deseretconnect.com/beacon.gif%3Fcid%3D167410%26pid%3D46%22%20/%3E
