HONESDALE - Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC), welcomes Certified Physician Assistant Norina Manassay, PA-C as the newest member of its staff.

Manassy, who has over 15 years of experience as an internal medicine physician assistant, is seeing patients at the Hamlin Family Health Center. She will provide primary care services to adolescents, adults and seniors.

“Norina is a seasoned professional committed to providing exceptional medical care,” stated Frederick Jackson, executive director, WMCHC. “Her background will be instrumental in the start up of our newest family health center opening in Hamlin.”

Manassy received a Bachelor of Science degree from the King’s College Physician Assistant Program in Wilkes Barre.

She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Additionally, she is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has served as a PA-C in Greentown, PA prior to joining WMCHC.

Jackson indicated while the Hamlin Family Health Center’s official site, located in the former Hamlin Elementary building at 543 Easton Turnpike, remains in the final remodeling phases, Manassy will see patients in the interim at WMCHC’s Hamlin Women’s Health Center office, 519 Easton Turnpike, Monday through Friday.

“Bringing Norina to the Hamlin area is just the beginning of the roll out of primary care services we plan to offer,” stated Jackson. “As we build our provider base and laboratory and radiology become available at our new site, the community will see expanded services.”

WMCHC, is a federally qualified health center clinically affiliated with Wayne Memorial Health System, Inc.

WMCHC accepts private insurances, managed care plans as well as medical assistance. Sliding fee scales are also available for those who qualify.
