- On Thursday, April 17th, Damascus Manor UM Church, will host a community worship service beginning at 7 p.m.

Thematic themes will be observed as they were during the Last Supper. Special prayers, Scripture, devotionals, and music will be presented to the congregation by participating pastors, the Reverends: Douglas Lee from Cold Spring Rileyville Presbyterian Church, Jean Blackie of Damascus Manor and Abramsville UM Church, and Mary Bryant of Cold Spring Chapel.

A choir composed of singers from all churches will sing an old Negro Spiritual, “Fix Me Jesus, Fix Me” before Communion.

The service will be illustrative of the messages of Christ to his followers for all time, ending Lent, and leading to the Cross and His Resurrection.

The public is cordially invited to attend this time of deep worship and cleansing. Fellowship will follow and church participants are asked to bring a snack to share.

Damascus Manor UM Church is located on the Cochecton Turnpike in the heart of Damascus.
