Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2013-14 academic year.

A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Those students from this area include:

Bethany Reynolds of Honesdale, the daughter of David and Katherine Reynolds and a graduate of Honesdale High School.

Matthew Terry of Honesdale, the son of Peter and Kathleen Terry and a 2011 graduate of Forest City Regional High School.

Moravian College announces that the following local resident earned Dean's Honor List standing for the Fall Semester of the 2013-2014 school year at Moravian College in Bethlehem.

Locals who made the list are Erica Stiefel, class of 2014, from Lakeville.

Students who carry three or more course units during a fall or spring term and attain a QPA for the term of 3.50 or higher are placed on the Dean's Honor List.

Moravian College is a private, coeducational, selective liberal arts college located in Bethlehem.

The following Lafayette College students were named to the Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2013 semester. Each student achieved at least a 3.60 semester grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

The following locals made the list: Ashley Hosbach of Cresco.

She is a graduate of Pocono Mountain East High School.
