The venue for the annual Wild Game Dinner of Calkins Baptist Church has changed for this year in order to have more space for the growing numbers of the Wild Game Dinner attendance. The new location will be the Beach Lake Fire Hall which is located at 1033 Beach Lake Hwy in Beach Lake, PA. This event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. We are privileged to have Ken Dockery, an inner-city missionary from Cleveland, OH, with us as our keynote speaker for this event and are excited to hear his challenge from God’s Word. In addition, Mr. Frank Dooley, who is the game commissioner for this area, will give a presentation of the updated rules and regulations pertaining to hunting. Last year around 250 people attended this event. They enjoyed a variety of game that was prepared and fixed by certain hunters in the area. There will be other side dishes in addition to the meat. Whether you are a hunter or someone who enjoys food and fellowship, this is an event that you wouldn’t want to miss! Admission is free and the public is invited to participate in this event. For further information please contact Pastor Lane Jones (729-7017) or Pastor Erik Hanson (729-4090).
