  • - On Sunday, Dec. 15 The Cooperage Project will host it’s 2nd Annual Holiday Artisans’ Market located inside The Cooperage at 1030 Main Street in Honesdale. Stop by between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to visit over two dozen talented regional artisans. “Since last year was such an overwhelming success, says Pennell Whitney, “We decided to expand the market to include both floors of The Cooperage.” The extra space allows for more vendors, more shopping and more fun. The market is a juried event and all products are handmade and unique, ranging from artisan soaps to handmade jewelry, wreaths to cutting boards. You can even buy baked goods, and place your orders for the rest of the holiday season. Visit thecooperageproject.org for a list of this years’ vendors. In addition to shopping local, there will be live music and product demonstrations throughout the day. The Honesdale Interact Club will offer photos with Santa between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. A local caricature artist will be available to draw portraits. The Anthill Farm Kitchen will be serving hot, farm to table snacks and meals. Don’t want to wrap your own presents? The Cooperage will be accepting donations for gift wrapping. Can you say one stop shopping? Come on by The Cooperage Sunday, Dec. 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. You’ll be sure to find handmade and unique holiday gifts for all of your friends and family. The Cooperage Project is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to build community through performance, learning, and good times and good works.
