At the Sunday service on Oct. 20 of the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (UDUUF), Carol Rocklin will share her reading of Reza Aslan’s book, Zealot.

Aslan, a scholar of religion, gives a historical portrait of Jesus of Nazarath rather than Jesus Christ, Jesus as a man of his time rather than the founder of Christianity. This is a vivid portrait of a turbulent time that created a rebel and has much to say to us in these turbulent times.

The UDUUF service will begin at 10:15 a.m. at the Berlin Township Community Center in Beach Lake. It will be followed by refreshments and a social time.

At noon, the annual Bud Rue Walk for Social Justice will begin, concluding with a lunch provided by the Fellowship.
