  • Halloween party slated

  • The Wayne County Arts Alliance and the Cooperage Project are planning their second annual Halloween party for adults on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 7:30–11 p.m. at the Cooperage, 1030 Main St., Honesdale.

  •  — The Wayne County Arts Alliance and the Cooperage Project are planning their second annual Halloween party for adults on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 7:30–11 p.m. at the Cooperage, 1030 Main St., Honesdale.
    The "Halloween Bash" will feature live music by the band Steppin Eddy, a costume competition and a carved pumpkin competition. (Pumpkins must be carved in advance and brought to the event.) Food by Suzanne Crum Catering will be available for purchase. The event is BYOB.
    Tickets for the Halloween Bash are $15, or $10 in costume, and may be purchased in advance at The Hanson Gallery, 1037 Main St. in Honesdale, or at Milkweed, 1023 Main St. in Honesdale. Tickets may also be purchased at the doors of the Cooperage on the evening of the Bash.
    The event is sponsored by AM Skier, Mt. Laurel Surgery Center, Dirlam Bros Lumber, Leeward, Dr. M. and Mrs C. Walker and Tattoo You.

    Also on Oct. 26, the Wayne County Arts Alliance will host the first show at their new gallery, Members 1026, located at Maude Alley, 1023 Main St., from 4 to 7 p.m.
    Check out the new gallery (feel free to come in costume), then head across the street for the Halloween Bash at the Cooperage.
