This important seminar is free of charge and open to the public. It will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Community Room at the Wayne County Visitors Center. Advance registration is required.
In this seminar you will have the opportunity to increase your awareness and understanding of domestic violence and how it affects people both at home and in the workplace, your knowledge of how best to support abused employees and the opportunity to learn how to become part of the solution at work and in your community.
Victims Intervention Program will provide an overview of the dynamics of domestic violence and a documentary entitled “Telling Amy’s Story” will be shown.
There will also be time for an open discussion.
You do not have to be a Honesdale business person or GHP member to attend.
