  • — Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen:
    Michael Romel, age 28, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 6 days to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $ 381.00 and had his driver's license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and a motor vehicle code violation. On November 11, 2012, Romel was pulled over for speeding and was found to be driving under the influence on Rt 739 in Delaware Township.
    Joanne Lugo, age 33, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 23 months, ordered to pay a fine of $ 1,000.00, complete 100 hours of community service, and had her driver's license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On February 28, 2013, in Lehman Township, Lugo was found to be driving under the influence with a person under the age of 18 in her vehicle. Her blood alcohol level was .20%.
    Matthew Drinko, age 22, of Milford, Pa was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 3 to 23 ½ months and ordered to pay a fine of $ 300.00 for the crime of Retail Theft. On March 24, 2013, Drinko took 2 flat screen televisions, 5 DVD's, a Xbox 360 game and a Sony camera without paying the full retail value of $ 977.76 from a business in Westfall Township.
    Davy Boucher, age 32, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $ 1,000.00 and had his driver's license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On January 14, 2012, Boucher drove his vehicle off SR 739, striking a tree and was found to be under the influence in Dingman Township. His blood alcohol level was .216%.
    Jorge Hortolaza, age 44 of New York, NY was sentenced to 18 months of probation, and ordered to pay a fine of $ 600.00 for the crimes of Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief. On March 14, 2013, in Lackawaxen Township, Hortolaza drove his vehicle at another person, and then struck another vehicle causing damage.
    Patricia Paterson, age 54, of Yulan, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $ 1,000.00 and had her driver's license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On March 18, 2013, in Lackawaxen Township, Paterson was found to be driving under the influence. Her blood alcohol level was .176%.
    Mauricio Alvarado, age 20, of East Stroudsburg, PA was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $ 300.00 for the crime of Simple Assault. On February 7, 2013, in Lehman Township, Alvarado repeatedly struck another person in the face, neck and torso, causing injury after a mutual confrontation.
    Page 2 of 2 - William Rittenhouse, age 38, of Brooklyn, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 7 days to 12 months and ordered to pay a fine of $ 500.00 for the crime of Simple Assault. On October 7, 2012, in Lehman Township, Rittenhouse repeatedly struck another person, causing injury.
    John Feeney, age 58, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $ 750.00 and had his driver's license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On October 12, 2012, in Lehman Township, Feeney was found to be driving under the influence. His blood alcohol level was .135%.
    Joseph Vasti, age 26, of Monroe, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 7 to 23 ½ months followed by an additional 12 months of probation, and ordered to pay a fine of $ 600.00 for the crime of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Retail Theft. On February 13, 2013, Vasti and his co-defendants agreed to enter a business in Westfall Township and take two televisions without paying the full retail value of $ 2,139.00. In a separate incident on February 16, 2013, Vasti and his co-defendants again agreed to enter a business in Westfall Township and take 39 various items without paying the full retail value of $ 1,548.00.
    John Ruzzano, age 43, of Milford, PA was sentenced to 18 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $ 1,900.00 for the crimes of Corruption of Minors and Selling or Furnishing Alcohol to Minors. On December 31, 2012 through January 1, 2013 in Dingman Township, Ruzzano purchased and provided alcohol to three under age children.
