A week after Russian President Vladimir Putin wrote an op-ed in the New York Times, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani did the same for the Washington Post. Rouhani wrote, "We must work together to end the unhealthy rivalries and interferences that fuel violence and drive us apart." The U.S. response has largely been positive, something that didn't happen with Putin's op-ed.
The big movies opening today are “Prisoners,” an R thriller starring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis; “Battle of the Year,” a PG-13 musical; and the 3-D release of “The Wizard of Oz.”
Gasbuddy.com reports that the lowest average statewide price for gas is in South Carolina ($3.137), and the highest is in Hawaii ($4.253).
