— The public is invited to hear David L. Hoff, chief executive officer of Wayne Memorial Hospital, address the hospital auxiliary at a dinner meeting Sept. 23 at The Hotel Wayne, corner of Main and Park streets, Honesdale.
Cocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6.
Hoff will provide an update on how the hospital is meeting the healthcare needs of the growing Wayne and Pike counties region.
The dinner costs $22 (includes tax and tip) and reservations are required. Call Mary Radell at 570-253-1976 for or more information. Auxiliary members and prospective members are welcome.
The buffet-style menu includes Penne a la Vodka (penne pasta tossed in tomato cream sauce with fresh basil), New York strip steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions, Chicken Marsala (marinated grilled chicken breast in a mushroom Marsala cream sauce), Caesar salad station, roasted red potatoes tossed in garlic and fresh thyme, fresh seasonal vegetables, pie and ice cream, coffee, tea and iced tea.
The Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary provides volunteer service within Wayne Memorial Health System, furthers public relations and raises funds for the enhancement of healthcare. New members are always welcome.
