The Wayne County Historical Society and the County Commissioners invite you to tour The Old Stone Jail on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Sundays at the Museum
On Sunday, Sept. 8 from 2-3 p.m. stop in at the Wayne County Historical Society (located at 810 Main Street) in downtown Honesdale for a free presentation with a well known local author.
William Katz is an American historian, and author of 40 books on little known aspects of American history.
Katz will discuss his book, “The Lincoln Brigade” which reveals the story of the 2,800 Americans who sailed to Spain in 1936 to help defend its democratic government against an overthrow by Hitler, Mussolini and General Franco and try to stop World War II.
Meet the author and hear about little known but fascinating parts of American History.
