    Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen:
    Arleen F. Borella, age 68, of Hawley, PA was sentenced to a state correctional facility for 4 months to 5 years and ordered to pay a fine of $1,500.00 for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence. On May 11, 2013, Borella drove off the road in Hemlock Farms. She was intoxicated at the time of her accident, with a Blood Alcohol Content of .193%.
    Allen R. Cangas, age 27, of Greentown, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 4 to 23 1⁄2 months and ordered to pay a fine of $500.00 for the crime of Receiving Stolen Property. In the summer of 2012 Cangas stole several pieces of farm equipment from a hunting club which he sold for scrap.
    Brian J. Conklin, age 21, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 3 to 12 months and ordered to pay a fine of $300.00 for the crimes of Criminal Conspiracy, and Retail Theft. On May 31, 2012, Conklin entered the Wal Mart in Westfall Township, and stole a digital camera valued at $549.00.
    Devin A. Drury, age 25, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 1 to 12 months and ordered to pay a fine of $500.00 for the crime of Theft by Unlawful taking. On June 14, 2011, Drury was employed at Hilltop Extramart in Milford, when he stole $220.36. Drury was not ringing up lottery ticket sales, and stole a case of energy drinks.Keith J. Hiller, age 40, of Lake Ariel, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 6 months and ordered to pay a fine of $1,325.00 for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, Careless Driving, and Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicles or Property. On December 8, 2012, Hiller was driving under the influence when he veered off the road, and crashed his car into the victim’s parked car and house off of Route 590 in Blooming Grove Township. Hiller’s Blood Alcohol Content at the time of the crash was .203%.
    John Jagger, age 27, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 12 months and 30 days and ordered to pay a fine of $200.00 for the crimes of Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On May 7, 2012, Jagger was stopped by the police, and officers could smell marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Jagger consented to officers searching his car, and they found marijuana, and a glass pipe.
    Christian J. Lanigan, age 25, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 10 days to 12 months and ordered to pay a fine of $250.00 for the crime of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition. On February 1, 2010, Lanigan stole two boxes of bagels and a loaf of rye bread from the morning bread delivery to a Deli in Lords Valley.
    Page 2 of 2 - Robert Lavanant, age 53, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to a state correctional facility for 21 months to 5 years and ordered to pay a fine of $1,500.00 for the crimes of Possessing Instruments of Crime, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. On November 26, 2011, in Delaware Township, on Spencer Road Lavanant, wielded a hand gun and fired 5 shots in the direction of a car that had driven past his house on a public road.
    Walter Marin, age 41, of Danbury, CT was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 6 months and ordered to pay a fine of $750.00 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On June 10, 2012, Marin was stopped on Interstate 84 for weaving in and out of lanes. At the time of his traffic stop Marin was found to be intoxicated with a Blood Alcohol Content of .139%.
    Stephanie Rhodes, age 21, of Montague, NJ was sentenced to probation for 12 months and ordered to pay a fine of $300.00 for the crime of Theft by Deception. On August 16, 2013, Rhodes entered the Wal Mart in Westfall Township, selected two electronics valued at $99.84, and exited the store. Rhodes then returned to the store with the stolen merchandise. She was able to return the stolen items by presenting her driver’s license; which she then received a gift card for the value of the stolen goods.
    Ricky R. Rivera, age 46, of Staten Island, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 15 days to 6 months and ordered to pay a fine of $1500.00 for the crimes of Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana, and Driving Under the Influence. On November 21, 2012, Rivera was stopped on 739 in Dingman Township for driving with his high beams on, and weaving in and out of lanes. At the time of the traffic stop officers could smell marijuana emanating from the car; Rivera admitted to driving under the influence, and to being in possession of a marijuana cigarette.
    William W. West, age 18, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility of 1 to 18 months and ordered to pay a fine of $400.00 for the crime of Access Device Fraud. In November of 2012, West used stolen credit cards to purchase $87.03 worth of cigarettes, lighters, and energy drinks, at various locations in Matamoras.
    Eric Rogerson, age 52, of Greeley, Pa was ordered to pay a fine of $300.00 for the crime of Simple Assault. On February 24, 2013, Rogerson was involved in a physical altercation when he hit his victim with a baseball bat.
