On Tuesday night around 6:24 p.m. fire crews were called out to a fire that took place at a residence on Primrose Lane at the Sunrise Terrace Mobile Home Park.
The residents were home at the time of the fire, but they all got out unharmed, according to George Korb, Lieutenant for Engine 3 and fire marshal for the Honesdale Fire Department.
He was out Wednesday morning investigating the cause of the fire, to which he said there are "no answers" at this time. However he did add that no foul play is suspected.
Assisting at the fire were Honesdale, Seelyville and White Mills fire departments.
The American Red Cross Wayne Pike Chapter is assisting the family, which consists of two adults and one child, with food, lodging and clothing and will follow up with additional services, if needed.
