-Over the weekend residents were greeted with a nice surprise-an ice cream truck, with the music and everything.
Lickity Split, based out of Jessup and owned by Dorothy and Rich Brown, will be coming to the borough “once a week” and will go to “every street.”
The ice cream truck was first seen around at the block party which took place after the borough's Pride and Patriotism Parade.
They offer a variety of ice cream cones, ice cream pops and even floats.
“So far we've been really successful,” said Rich.
Lickity Split not only drives around town, but they also do birthday parties, special events and fundraisers. They even do events in support of State Rep. Frank Farina. Food catering for indoor and outdoor events is also available.
Next time you're in Waymart and hear that famous music, stop by and see what Lickity
