Canaan Bible Chapel will be turned into a castle complete with drawbridge, moat, knights in armor and more.
The theme this year, The Kingdom Chronicles, will explore the battle between good and evil and how God's Word shows us the way to fight and win the battle over evil. Campers will learn how they can become citizens of God’s heavenly kingdom, to prepare for battle by wearing the full armor of God daily and to be equipped to serve and obey our heavenly Commander — the King of kings.
Camp begins Monday, June 24 and runs five mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. Campers are encouraged to come 15 minutes early the first few mornings so they can be placed in the proper class. Children entering PreK4 through grade 8 are invited.
There is no cost, but a voluntary offering will be received daily as a contest to support one of the church’s missionaries.
There are games, prizes, crafts, songs, skits, snacks, contests, activities, Bible stories and more. All activities are age appropriate.
There is also a Day Camp Family Picnic at no charge on Friday evening, June 28 at 6 p.m. Food and drinks are supplied by the church. All campers and their families may attend.
Campers can register online at www.canaanbiblechapel.org. Registration forms are also available at the church office. For more information call 570-937-4848. Early registration is suggested.
