    JOHN PATRICK MACCARTY, age 40 of Lake Ariel, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 8 months nor more than 5 years for one count of DUI-Highest Rate, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 1st Degree and one count of Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Veh/Property, graded as a Summary offense. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,800.00, pay restitution in the amount of $2,305.99, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, attend and complete an alcohol highway safety program, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, perform 100 hours of community service, and obtain full time employment. The incident occurred on September 4, 2012, in Salem Township when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate the report of a hit and run crash. His BAC was .163%.
    THOMAS J. SIGURDSSON, age 28 of Forest City, PA was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, perform 40 hours of community service and have his operator’s license suspended for a period of 60 days. The incident occurred on December 25, 2012, in Clinton Township when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate the report of a one vehicle crash. His BAC was .190%.
    JASON ROBERT HATCHER, age 21 of Kingston, PA, 6 months related to Possession of Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, perform 40 hours of community service and attend and complete an alcohol highway safety program. The incident occurred on November 12, 2012, in Honesdale Borough when Hatcher was found to be in possession of Marijuana.
    DONALD J. BREESE, age 45 of Waymart, PA pled guilty to one count of Simple Assault, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 2nd Degree. The incident occurred on April 23, 2012, when Breese struck a correction officer while incarcerated at SCI Waymart. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 1, 2013.
    NIKOLAS REEDER, age 21 of Honesdale, PA pled guilty to one count of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, graded as a Felony of the 3rd Degree, one count of Terroristic Threats, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 1st Degree and one count of Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, graded as a Felony of the 3rd Degree. The incident occurred on April 13, 2013, in Honesdale Borough and Texas Township when Reeder refused to stop after being given signals to do so by police officers. Reeder then pointed a firearm at a male victim. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 1, 2013.

    JEFFERY P. BELKNAP, age 36 of Madison Twp, PA was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count of Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition, graded as Misdemeanor of the 1st Degree and one count of Criminal Mischief-Damage Property, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 2nd Degree.
    He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $100, pay restitution in the amount of $1,155, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and perform 75 hours of community service. The incident occurred on May 27, 2012, in Lehigh Township when Lehigh Township Police discovered an ATV accident.
    LUCIA DOBROMIRESCU, age 29 of Hancock, NY was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance, an ungraded Misdemeanor and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, ungraded Misdemeanors.
    He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation together with a mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, perform 50 hours of community service and obtain part time employment. The incidents occurred on November 2, 2012, and November 5, 2012, in Waymart Borough when Dobromirescu was found to be in possession of Marijuana.
    JESSE MICHAEL DUNHOM, age 18 of Waymart, PA was placed on probation for a period of 18 months for one count of Criminal Trespass-Break Into Structure, graded as a Felony of the 2nd Degree. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $100, perform 100 hours of community service, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, obtain full time employment and submit to the drawing of the DNA sample and pay $250 for the cost of the sample.
    KIRK JOSHUA ECKEL, age 23 of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 4 months nor more than 23 ½ months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, both ungraded Misdemeanors.
    Page 3 of 6 - He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation together with a mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and obtain full time employment. The incident occurred on September 24, 2012, in Lake Township when Eckel was discovered to be in possession of heroin and cocaine.
    FRANK PATRICK MILLS, age 53 of Lake Ariel, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 15 months nor more than 60 months for one count of Delivery of Controlled Substance, an ungraded Felony.
    He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, and submit to the drawing of a DNA sample and pay $250 for the cost of the sample. The incident occurred on November 23, 2011, in Lake Township when Mills sold cocaine to a confidential informant.
    SARAH JUNE NOVATNAK, age 28 of Hazelton, PA was placed on probation for a period of 24 months for one count of Criminal Trespass-Enter Structure, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 3rd Degree and one count of Criminal Mischief.
    She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay restitution in the amount of $8,897.60, have no contact with the victims in this matter, continue with drug and alcohol treatment and continue with mental health treatment. The incident occurred on June 5, 2012, in Hawley Borough when Novatnak entered a private residence.
    JOSEPH LOUIS POLITI, age 44 of East Hanover, NJ was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 72 hours nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI or Controlled Substance, an ungraded Misdemeanor, one count of DUI-Highest Rate, also an ungraded Misdemeanor and one count of Driving on Roadways Laned For Traffic, graded as a Summary offense.
    He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, attend and complete an alcohol highway safety program, perform 50 hours of community service and obtain full time employment upon being released from prison. The incident occurred on July 16, 2012, in Preston Township when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate the report of a one vehicle crash. His BAC was .272%.
    THOMAS RICHARD RANKIN, JR., age 37 of Hawley, PA was ordered to pay all Court costs, and a fine in the amount of $500, for one count of Distribute Small AmountMarijuana-Not for Sale, an ungraded Misdemeanor. The incident occurred between August 1, 2011, and February 4, 2012, in Paupack Township.
    Page 4 of 6 - PABLO JORGE GIOVANNARI, age 54 of Carbondale, PA was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI.
    He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, perform 40 hours of community service, attend and complete an alcohol highway safety program and have his operator’s license suspended for a period of 90 days. At that time Giovannari refused to submit to the drawing of a blood sample for chemical testing.
    Pike County
    Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen:
    Nichole Holcomb, age 33, of Greentown, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 2 to 23 ½ months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.
    On September 10, 2012, on Rt 507 in Greene Township, Holcomb was found to be driving under the influence of Diazepam, a controlled substance, with a minor child under the age of 18 in the vehicle.
    Jeanne Rice, age 50, of East Stroudsburg, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 48 hours to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $600 and had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.
    On August 12, 2012, in Lehman Township, Rice was found to be driving under the influence and without a valid driver’s license. Her blood alcohol level was .11%.
    Waylon Fox, age 38, of Carbondale, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 1 to 12 months and ordered to pay a fine of $250 for the crime of Harassment. Between August 27 and September 1, 2012, in Lackawaxen Township, Fox left numerous voicemail messages threatening to assault and kill another person.
    Renee Reinhardt, age 44, of Milford, PA was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Receiving Stolen Property. On November 8, 2012, in Matamoras Borough, Reinhardt possessed two Dyson Vacuums knowing they had been stolen from a business in Westfall
    Page 5 of 6 - Daniel Depolito, age 27, of Milford, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 20 days to 6 months, to be served consecutively to a case he is presently serving for a total sentence of 1 year and 20 days to 4 ½ years, ordered to pay a fine of $1,200, and had his driver’s license suspended for 24 months for the crime Driving Under the Influence.
    On July 21, 2012, on SR 739 in Dingman Township, Depolito was found to be driving under the influence. His blood alcohol level was .230%.
    Jonathan Tabarani, age 20, of Allentown, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 2 to 23 months, and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crimes of Theft by Deception, and Receiving Stolen Property.
    On July 19, 2012, Tabarani cashed fraudulent checks and received $596.34.
    Stephen Glatz, age 19, of Greentown, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 38 months to 8 years and ordered to pay a fine of $1,200 for the crimes of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia.
    On July 29, 2012, Glatz agreed with two others in robbing a convenience store in Greene Township. Glatz planed and served as the lookout while his two co-defendants entered the store, displayed a replica firearm and demanded cash and property from the employees.
    In a separate incident on August 5, 2012, in Greene Township, Glatz led two people down a road to his co-defendants who threatened and took personal property from them. On August 6, 2012, when Glatz was being arrested for the robbery the previous day he was found in possession of a plastic bag used for storing marijuana.
    Andrew Loggia, age 39, of New York, NY was sentenced to the intermediate Punishment program for 5 years with 30 days of incarceration and 90 days of house arrest, ordered to pay a fine of $ 2,500.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.
    On September 2, 2012 in Lehman Township, Loggia was found to be driving under the influence. His blood alcohol was .171%.
    Page 6 of 6 - Blazej Szczesnik, age 29, of Shohola, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 11 ½ to 23 ½ months and ordered to pay a fine of $800 for Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
    On October 30, 2010, in Westfall Township, Szczesnik agreed with another person that one of them would enter a residence and the other stay outside as a lookout. Szczesnik’s codefendant damaged the door to enter the residence and took a laptop computer
    Keith Woegens, age 30, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 7 days to 7 months, ordered to pay a fine of $300 and had his driver’s license suspended for 6 months for the crime of Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana. On August 29, 2012 in Dingman Township, Woegens was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
