The Sterling United Methodist Church is hosting its second annual auction event to benefit projects at the church. The auction will be held outside of the church hall on June 1, starting at 9 a.m. and will benefit the renovations that where recently completed on the Bell Tower.
The church was founded in 1848 in Sterling Township and has been a rock in the center of the Sterling Community for generations. On the church grounds sits the church hall, which was the former Sterling Grange Hall, Municipal Building, and at one time the local School.
With Sterling's history, auction goers can expect more than antiques, there will be electronics, sporting goods, tools and equipment. Some church members have donated brand new items such as dish sets. You can expect many quality items that can only be found at the Bell Tower Auction.
Special thanks goes out to Dunn and Madden Auction Services, LLC.
Refreshments will be served.
