  •  - Alice and the Glass Lake's deeply beautiful and personal songs bring listeners to real and imagined worlds in a stunning musical experiment.
A performance is scheduled in May.
Their powerful debut effortlessly captures a dreamscape— with epic and cinematically full sound, lush instrumentation and layers of vocals pulling together the cosmos in a heart stopping vision.
Compared to artists like Imogene Heap, Sarah Mclachlan and Florence + the Machine, Alice and the Glass Lake will have your heart running wild and free with the wind.
Wisconsin native, prolific songwriter, musician and front woman of this stunning and exotic group, Alicia Lemke’s music is very much inspired by nature.
She says, “I think that being surrounded by woods and spending time in nature inherently has an affect on my musical taste. I really love stuff that's emotionally evocative and environmental—that puts you in the headspace of being in the woods. I'm heavily influenced by Midwestern nature.”
The overwhelming response to Alice and the Glass Lake is as natural as the music itself. There is a sincere element in this music that connects people to each other and will certainly resonate with lovers of Hawley and the Pocono Mountains with all of their majestic beauty.
