This year, the library’s premier fundraising event will be held on Friday, April 26.
Tickets are on sale now for $30 each at the Library at 1406 Main Street in Honesdale.
New library director Tracy Schwarz said six local restaurants will be preparing special finger foods that are paired with six different wines. Participating Restaurants include The Alpine Wurst & Meat House, Camp Umpy’s Bagles & Stuff, Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Restaurant, Fiesta on Main, Glass Wine Bar & Kitchen and Hotel Wayne.
Enjoy of evening of good company, good wine and great food at Wayne County Ford, Friday, April 26, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. A silent auction features works by local artists and art students, some of whom have given old books from the book sale room a new life. Also, 50-50 raffles will liven up the evening.
For the 2012 event, more than 300 people sipped, tasted and mingled in the transformed Wayne County Ford show room on Route 6 east of Honesdale.
