— The Cooperage Project is proud to present Japanese Guitarist, Hiroya Tsukamoto, on Saturday, April 13, at 7 p.m. at The Cooperage, 1030 Main Street in Honesdale.
Tsukamoto is a one-of-a-kind guitarist and composer from Kyoto, Japan. He began playing the five-string banjo when he was 13 and took up the guitar shortly after.
Hiroya is a graduate of Berkley College of Music and a recipient of several prestigious awards including the Professional Music Achievement Award.
Hiroya’s solo guitar performances are contemplative and peaceful. His music is unique, benefiting from Japanese, Latin American and New York City influences. Officials hope you’ll join us for this one-of-a-kind performance. It is a BYOB event.
Light fare will be available from the kitchen. Donations will be collected at the door. Doors open at 6:30.
The Cooperage is operated by the The Cooperage Project, a not-for-profit organization that seeks to build community through performance, learning and good times. For more information visit www.thecooperageproject.org or call 253-2020.
