- The Delaware Youth Center is now offering the NTSI’s (National Traffic Safety Institute) six hour New York State Driver Safety Course.
The next class will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The course is sponsored by Catskill Hudson Bank and Roche’s Garage. Registration and advance payment of the $40 fee ($35 for DYC members) are required to secure a seat. Limited seating available, so register now.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. To receive credit for the course, participants must arrive on time and complete the full six hours. Upon completion participants will receive a 10 percent reduction in auto liability, no-fault and collision insurance premiums each year for three years.
Participants must be the principal operator of a vehicle and a NY State driver. Pennsylvania drivers may be eligible but should check with their insurance company.
A subtraction of up to four points on the operator’s driving record may also be achieved.
Lunch will be provided for an additional fee of $7. The Youth Center is located at 8 Creamery Road in Callicoon.
