At 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, the Wayne County Arts Alliance will present the 1955 French thriller “Diabolique” as the third offering in its winter Sunday Night Cinema series.
The greatest film that Hitchcock never made, Henri-Georges Clouzot’s film is set in a provincial boarding school run by a ruthless headmaster and philanderer. The headmaster becomes the target of a murder plot concocted by his wife and his lover.
The Sunday Night Cinema’s winter series, entitled “Enigmatic Endings,” features movies that provide an unexpected twist.
Showings are at 6 p.m. at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, 32 Commercial Street, Honesdale.
A donation of $5 per person is suggested to help support Arts Alliance’s community events.
The film will be preceded by a short introduction and followed by a discussion.
