Wayne County Area Agency on Aging welcomes everyone to join with other caregivers at the monthly meetings of the Caregiver's Support Group.
The March meeting will be held at the Earl J. Simons Senior Center on Wednesday, March 13 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
The guest speaker is Jamie Stunkard, ND CN of Nature's Grace Health Foods & Deli in Honesdale.
Stunkard has been a licensed certified nutritionist since 1996 having graduated from the American Health Science University in Colorado. He received his degree in naturopathy from Westbrook University and is board certified by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board. His clinical training was received at the Advanced Wholistic Health Institute.
Certification in advanced Iridology was taught by Dr. Bernard Jensen in 1993. Stunkard completed course level II from the New England School of Homeopathy with Paul Herscu in 1996 and has currently finished a three-year course in classical homeopathy with Jayesh Shah of the Bombay homeopaths. His consuming interest is helping people explore the path to better health.
Stunkard will be speaking about various herbs and vitamins that can be used to alleviate stress.
He will also talk about relaxation and breathing techniques to help reduce stress.
The group meeting is informal but informational. The counselors are experienced and understanding.
Sharing experiences, ideas, situations, solutions and frustrations can help you and others who attend. Consider this as time for you to bolster your emotional and physical well-being.
