My sister and brother-in-law came up Friday to celebrate with Sean as well. My mom made brownies and he got to open presents.
Saturday we all went bowling, which was a really great time. My dad and Sean stayed neck and neck for awhile. Eventually Sean won the first game-kicking all of our butts I should add—and my dad claimed the second round. I didn't have my hottest games ever, but it's all good.
Sean was being his usual goofy self, dancing around, teasing us for gutter balls, and of course making us laugh. He was just having a ball, which didn't surprise me being that it's one of his favorite things to do.
Oh and did I mention he also got ice cream cake after? And that it had vanilla AND chocolate ice cream?
Can you say spoiled? Haha just kidding bro.
Going out with Sean is always fun and I was really glad he was enjoying himself so much. And as many times as I've gone bowling with him, I didn't notice a particular quirk of his until my dad pointed it out.
Sean actually alternates hands when bowling. It seems to follow a pattern where he uses his left hand the first time, then his right the second time (unless he gets a strike of course). Not to mention he has a fancy curve when he bowls with his right hand. I don't know how I missed that before but it's awesome to know that he is also ambidextrous like me.
He focuses on doing things with his right more (though he used to be a lefty until he taught himself otherwise) and I mostly use my left.
It was very interesting to see how he switches his hands when he bowls though. It didn't serve him negatively either. Afterall, he did beat us all. Even when he didn't get first in the second game, he still beat the majority of us.
So needless to say Sean had a successful birthday weekend and had a lot of fun.
