  • — The excitement is mounting as the night of Penn State's "Idol" Finale draws near.
The finalists have been rehearsing day and night to earn the title of the first ever Blue and White Singing Sensation, and sponsors are anxiously awaiting the decision of the fans and judges.
Little do they know that jealousies and old grudges will turn this festive night into one of intrigue and suspense, and before a winner can be crowned, a murder will take place.
Come, be a sleuth, and join in the fun on Saturday, March 2 at 6 p.m. as the Wayne/Pike Penn State Alumni Chapter presents "Idol"- Penn State Style, a Murder/Mystery evening at Ehrhardt's Waterfront Banquet Center.
Besides entertainment from local singing talents and a mystery to solve, there will be prizes for the top three people who solve the mystery, a silent auction featuring donations from area businesses, and a delicious spread of heavy appetizers, Ehrhardt's famous pasta station, and desserts.
The cost for this event is $25 a person and includes one complimentary drink.
You don't need to be a Penn State Alumni to join in on this night of fun, entertainment, and suspense. Everyone is welcome.
To purchase tickets, contact Wayne at (570) 676-8763. Proceeds go towards Penn State Scholarships for our local graduating seniors with plans to attend Penn State.
