My name is Lanie, a culinary student at Lackawanna College Lake Region Center in Hawley, PA with a passion for cooking. I might be a baker by heart but I'll cook a hot meal any day.
The last, but certainly not least simple and sweet dessert (don't worry, there will be more!). This past weekend my niece and nephews came over for a visit, they saw that I was baking and wanted to help. So we made these together. The only hard thing about these tasty babies is not to eat them all!
6 oz Melted Butter
3/4 C Sifted Sugar
3/4 C Brown Sugar
1 C Sifted Cocoa
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/3 Sifted Flour
1/3 tsp Salt
3 oz of Cream Cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a square/rectangular pan
Cream together the butter and sugars
Add in eggs and vanilla extract, whisk until fully incorporated
Add in all dry ingredients and whisk until smooth pour into pan
After the batter has settled, take small spoon fulls of the cream cheese and place them all inside the batter (don't be afraid to push them below the batter as well, it'll just make it even tastier!)
Bake for 40 - 45 mins
Serve and enjoy!
