They came. They saw. They conquered.
The most important game of the year took place on Sunday and it was the cutest thing ever.
Cute you ask? Yes, I said cute. What? You didn't really think I was talking about the Super Bowl did you? (Insert snickering here).
The most important game is the Puppy Bowl of course!!
Who could possibly turn down a bunch of super cute puppies of various breeds playing with each other and toys? Not to mention, for all you cat lovers out there, a kitty halftime show.
The Puppy Bowl may not have been going on as long as the Super Bowl (this was its 9th one), but they're all winners. We simply get the enjoyment of seeing these adorable pups play around and score points. Marta, a Schnauzer/Beagle mix, even scored against dogs twice her size.
Trust me I could go on and on about these puppies and the adorableness they brought, especially my favorite breeds, like Chestnut, a Labrador Retriver/Australian Shepherd mix; Aurora, a Siberian Huskie/Retriver mix; Magnolia, a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriver mix and Pearl and Shadow, both an Australian Catahoula/Labrador Retriver mix. Even those don't add up all my favorites.
The Puppy Bowl is on Animal Planet and is quite popular. All of the animals are shelter pups so this also gives them a "hey I'm here, please adopt me." So I will go with this: looking to adopt? Check out your local shelter.
Oh yea, wasn't there a football game or something on Sunday as well? Hehe...here are some of my top moments.
Doritos, meet goat
Budweiser and Clydesdale
Cars.com with wolves
Skechers vs. cheetah
Pepsi and the party
Halftime show wasn't best or worst
But none of these add up to the dangerously cuteness the Puppy Bowl brought with it.
