— Jessica Hoffman of Hawley, a freshman biology major, has been awarded the Lycoming College 2012 Freshman Writing and Research Prize for her essay, "The Identification of Aeromonas hydrophila subsp. ranae and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens.”
The award was granted by The Writing Across the Curriculum Committee and Faculty Library Advisory Committee. Hoffman's essay was nominated by Lycoming College professor Dr. Jeff Newman.
