The former Stewart residence is being transformed into Sprout Dental, a pediatric dental practice operated by Dr. Kady Schloesser

Sprout Dental will open on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 177 Sunrise Avenue.

As a children’s dentist, Dr. Kady will fulfill a unique need — children’s dentistry through a practice designed entirely around kids’ physical and emotional needs.

“Pediatric dentistry is my passion, and my heart has always been in Honesdale. I see a great need here for a pediatric dentist. I talk to so many moms who are traveling to take their kids to a pediatric dentist. Now they won’t have to. They’ll have a homegrown pediatric dentist right here to take care of their little ones,” she said.

Dr. Kady is transforming the white stucco house into a pediatric dental office.

“I want to make it the home for pediatric dentistry in Northeast Pennsylvania,” she said.

She’s doing a great job making it inviting. Dr. Kady has contracted with a number of insurances in addition to Access and CHIP.

She will be welcoming all children including the behaviorally challenged, the medically complex and children with special health care needs.

Dr. Kady will be hosting an open house at Sprout Dental on Sunday, Dec. 23 with office tours, holiday excitement, face painting, balloon animals and a visit from Santa Claus. She is booking appointments for early January.
