The Patriot Connectors will be gathering together Dec. 13 at the Wallenpaupack High School Library from 7-9 p.m. to discuss vital conservative issues pertinent for the coming year.
With the country facing substantially higher taxes, escalating food and energy prices, implementation of the Affordable Health Care Act and the changeling overseas foreign policy problems, this nation is in great need of concerned citizen’s support.
The group is hoping patriots will step up and become informed and involved in pro-active activities such as research and development of petitions, e-mail campaign strategy and developing phone call lists to contact Congress.
Constituents need to express how they feel about the disturbing issues facing America today.
According to group organizers, they feel people need to be heard about the existing quagmire of Washington politics on such things as tax reform, term limits, entitlement reform, voter ID, foreign aid, repealing or nullifying the Affordable Care Act, abolishment of earmarks, border and illegal alien control and balancing the budget.
Organizers say nly by consistent citizen effort will politicians be stopped from their "power hungry and money centered system of running government. The Constitution is ignored, their oath of office means nothing, back room deals are the order of the day and graft is rampant.
"America is at the Cross Roads in its history. It either goes forward as a free and liberty based republic or it falls into socialism, financial decline and moral stagnation. The very heart and soul of America is hanging in the balance."
