    In Salem Township, Pennsylvania State Police report that someone stole a donation jar from the library.
    Sometime in the late hours of Oct. 17 or the early hours of Oct. 18, police said someone smashed the glass entrance doors of the Salem Public Library located at 518 Easton Turnpike.
    Once inside, police said a donation jar was stolen.
    Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Honesdale at 253-7126.
    Trooper John Chervanka is handling the case.
    In Honesdale, borough police are seeking information about a window which was broken.
    According to the Honesdale Borough Police report, on Friday, Oct. 19, police were called to 533 Main Street at 8:55a.m. to a report of a broken window.
    Personnel at Audible Hearing Care called the police and it was determined that someone had thrown a large landscaping block through a ground floor window of the office sometime in the overnight hours.
    Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 253-1900.
