- Students of The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC) are partnering with Scranton Primary Health Care Center and the National Health Service Corps scholars to host a free community health fair on Sunday, Oct.14 from noon - 3 p.m. at TCMC, 525 Pine Street, Scranton.
Nearly 20 local vendors will be onsite to provide health, nutrition and counseling information. Free blood pressure screenings and health information will be available throughout the afternoon. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Participants can also enjoy a bake sale and basket raffle.
Vendors participating to date include UNO Fitness, Northeastern Pennsylvania Memory and Alzheimer Center, The Wright Center, Scranton Primary Health Care Center, The Giving Stable/Marley's Mission, Geisinger/Kohl's Cares for Kids, Oakwood Terrace Memory Care Community, Cooney Medical Inc., Maxim Healthcare Services, Epilepsy Foundation, Bayada Home Health Services, Lutheran Home Care & Hospice, VNA Hospice & Home Health, Cancertacular, PA Tourette Syndrome Alliance, Telespond, and many more.
