    Coming soon: Introduction to Forest Stewardship Field Day - Saturday September 22, 9 a.m. to noon
    Join the Delaware Highlands Conservancy, the Catskill Forest Association and Lower Hudson Forestry Services for this field day at the Conservancy's office in Kauneonga Lake, NY. Take a walk across the property. Learn about opportunities for landowners to steward their own woods. Review the property's forest management plan. Learn what a consulting forester can provide to woodlot owners. Learn about the property's conservation easement that protects this piece of farm and woodland while providing the landowner with financial benefits.     Forestry Field Day: From Timber to 2x4s - Saturday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m. to noon
    Join the Delaware Highlands Conservancy to learn from the landowner of this managed forest and the PA-DCNR service forester for Pike and Monroe counties. See how a tree is taken down and turned into lumber, from start to finish. Watch demonstrations of equipment used for harvesting and processing timber, from a chainsaw to a portable band saw and grapple.     Fall Hike, Crystal Lake Wild Forest –Sunday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. to noon
    Join the Delaware Highlands Conservancy and Morgan Outdoors for a fun, two-hour guided family hike and learn about the ecology and history of the area.
