The victim reported to investigating officers that he had mistakenly left his wallet on the check-out counter at Turkey Hill Market the prior evening. When the victim returned to the store he discovered that the wallet was missing.
A review of the store's video surveillance system revealed that a customer took the wallet from the counter shortly after the victim had left it there.
On Aug. 31, investigating officers located and identified the suspect as Eric Stanley Juskey, 24, of age of Honesdale.
On Sept. 4th, a charge of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 1st degree, was filed against Juskey at The Wayne County Courthouse.
