- The Pennsylvania State Police would like to remind motorist to drive safely during the upcoming Labor Day holiday. Motorists are urged to buckle up and slow down, and minimize distractions that take their concentration away from the roadway. Motorists are also reminded to keep themselves and others on the roadways safe, by not driving impaired by alcohol, drugs or fatigue. The Pennsylvania State Police is continuing efforts toward highway safety and requests the cooperation of motorists.

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop R, will be conducting roving DUI patrols in Lackawanna, Wayne, Pike and Susquehanna counties during the holiday period in an effort to keep motorists safe.
